The BeadCores are precision castings using the lost wax process for maximum density and strength requiring very little finishing. They allow you a solid foundation of exacting core size repeatability upon which to add simple to sophisticated creations with even the most delicate of design and will result in a solid creation with a long life. They are available in Silver, Bronze and Copper in various lengths. The application process is simple. Make sure the surface is clean then apply a layer of oil based paste from the same type of metal to create the bonding layer and allow to dry completely then begin your creation. Fire the BeadCore as you would for the particular metal of choice. Treat the Core as you would when making additions to already fired pieces. It is the same experience. BeadCores can also be used for polymer and lamp work glass creations. For the silver BeadCores the silver alloy we use has a higher silver content than Sterling and can be legally marked as Sterling. This alloy will not oxidize during firing and allows it to readily sinter with all silver metal clays. The bronze BeadCores are made from alloyed bronze casting grain and Copper RingCores are 100% copper.
