I love using my ClayVault - a plastic snap-closed container with rehydrated water crystals! I wrap my clay in plastic wrap and store it in the ClayVault and it is perfect when I need it (occasionally mold has formed, but I will take that over a dry mound of clay any day). I also have taken my clay in the greenware stage that I didn't like, misted it with water, wrapped it up in plastic wrap and put in the ClayVault and it becomes rehydrated with little effort. I did find that the rehydrated water crystals were very friable if handled, (I was obsessed to keep them hydrated) so I purchased replacements from a science store - so I am set! What a great product at such a reasonable price to keep hundreds of dollars of clay fresh to use when the creative urge hits!

While traveling, I had placed approximately 50 grams of PMC in a plastic bag and put it in the ClayVault and then forgot about it. Three months later, while digging through my travel toolkit I found the ClayVault. When I opened it I couldn't believe I had left this much clay out and thought for sure that it had dried up. I was so amazed and pleased to find that the clay was just as moist as when I first put it in the ClayVault! I won't store any of my clay long term in anything but the ClayVault. Thanks to the inventor of this amazing tool!
