Our newly redesigned Fiber Hot Pot is now made from rigid ceramic fiber for strength and improved heat retention. Designed to fire low fire clays such as PMC3 and Art Clay 650, firing is complete in about 10-12 minutes when the fuel is expended.

Fire fine silver creations up to 16 grams. The fuel is made mainly of methyl alcohol and is in gel form. Please note that it can only be shipped via UPS Ground.

The Hot Pot is cast from a ceramic fiber material. This space age, lightweight material has exceptional insulating capability, which allows for higher temperatures for a longer period of than previous generation Hot Pots. The ceramic fiber material is also resistant to cracking due to thermal stress and will not shatter if dropped.

Technical Data

Warm-up: Room temperature to 1200ºF in two minutes
Firing: 10-12 minutes at 1200ºF
Ave. Firing Temperature: 1375ºF over the 10-12 min firing phase
Max Temp: 1550ºF
