HattieS™ Embossed Effects™ Texture Mats have a raised texture that has an excellent tactile appeal that looks fabulous on its own or with a variety of patina and coloring techniques.

Simply apply a non-stick coating to the mat such as HattieS™ No Stick™. Roll clay to desired thickness. Lay clay on top of texture stamp and gently press clay into the texture mat with your fingers. Then use roller with even pressure over the clay to make an even impression. Gently peel clay from stamp and trim around perimeter of clay with a needle tool or blade. For metal clay, create your piece and then dry the clay. Refine and file the edges. Fire and finish as usual.

For polymer clay, create your piece and fire as usual. After firing, refine and file the edges as needed.

Each rubber texture mat is approximately 4"x8".
