Metal Clay Veneer is made by combining the Veneer Solution to any grade of PMC or Art Clay that will turn it into a viscose paste that can be applied to a textured surface. Once thoroughly dry, the textured sheet will remain flexible indefinitely. Because it can be very thin, yet strong, it can be fired then shaped onto other solid objects and either refired or bonded to the receiving surface using an adhesive. This Metal Clay Veneer kit by inventor Jay Humphreys contains all of the materials you need to produce your very own Metal Clay Veneer. The kit includes 2 large mixing bottles, 1 small mixing bottle, 2 measuring cups, 2 stirrers, 2 ounces of Veneer Solution (patent pending) and an instructional CD that gives you all of the basics needed to create veneer sheets along with examples of more advanced techniques.
*VENEER HAS TO BE FIRED AT 1650 DEGREES F FOR 2 HOURS* Metal Clay Veneer is a different form of metal clay. It has different characteristis therefore the recommended firing schedule must be followed.
