This all-over softly rounded, nubby texture can be used to add fine, subtle detail and interest to sculptures, beads and backgrounds. Depending how firmly the mat is pressed into the clay the texture / pattern can add an organic, muted texture to your project. If pressed deeply, a strong, bold texture is created.

The images on this Texture mat go INTO the mat. The result is, when the mat is pressed into the clay, the texture / woven leather pattern will be raised (stick out) of the surface of the sheet of clay.

This urethane texture mat is for use with polymer clay, metal clay, etc. and can take temperatures up to 150° F.
