One of our most popular designs, this mat makes an all-over pattern of sticks. Because the sticks protrude from the clay they can be highlighted before baking with mica powders and / or antiqued after baking.

The images on this Texture mat go INTO the mat. The result is, when the mat is pressed into the clay, the texture / woven leather pattern will be raised (stick out) of the surface of the sheet of clay.

This urethane texture mat is for use with polymer clay, metal clay, etc. and can take temperatures up to 150° F.
