This is a simple, effective, and inexpensive way to increase the effective surface area of your kiln. It also allows for more consistent heat to be applied over your entire piece(s).

Multiple shelves can be stacked as high as your kiln allows. Exercise care and not allow the shelves to come in contact with the pyrometer wire present in most kilns. While not "dangerous" it could cause incorrect temperature readings.
