As proven by the Art Clay people themselves - and recommended by them, the SpeedFire Cone system fires Art Clay Copper in 20 minutes and is hands down the fastest hands free firing method for this clay. Even if you have a kiln, the SpeedFire system beats it every time. Why? The object is to minimize oxidation. From the time you open your kiln (oxidizing oxygen is rushing in), reach in, securely snag the creation, remove it and drop it into water a LOT of oxidation is taking place. Now imagine lifting your creation from the stainless steel grid of the SpeedFire Cone and in about a second dropping it into water. No Comparison! We believe that the SpeedFire Cone system will become the best way to economically fire Art Clay Copper and minimize fire scale in the process! Even if you do own a kiln, the SpeedFire Cone system is totally portable and NOT dependent on electricity. It gets its fuel from a user supplied and commonly available barbecue style propane tank.

As an option, we also have available a bulk tank adapter that allows the Speedfire Cone System to be attached to a standard barbeque pit style propane tank for we don't know how many firings you can get - but it is a bunch!
