Thompson Lead-Free Medium Temperature, Medium Expansion enamels are a glass product formulated to create a permanent bond with fine silver, copper, and gold. Bronze is not recommended for enameling. These high quality, acid-resistant, 80-mesh enamels will provide rich, beautiful color for your metal clay work.

• Color: 2880 Woodrow Red
• Metals: Recommended for copper and gold only. It will turn brown and muddy if fired on silver. Please see Pam East’s article “Firing Warm Colors on Silver” for detailed information on overcoming this issue. [Eric and I will insert the hyperlink to that article later]
• Recommended Firing Range: 1350°–1450°F (730°–790°C). This is lower than the general firing range because this color will darken if over-fired.
• COE: 325 cubic expansion
• Grade: 80 Mesh
• Type: Transparent
