This crock pot style heater is not only the perfect choice for heating pickling solutions it is far more economical that traditional jeweler's pickle pots! This pot maintains the ideal temperature for pickle solutions such as Sparex #2. It's non-corrosive interior will give many years of service. Just wipe down the outside of the unit with a damp cloth to keep the unit clean. Pickle solution does NOT go bad even if it starts turning blue! Since the pickling solution is staying hot evaporation is occurring, but the pickle itself remains in the solution so you only need to add water periodically to maintain the original solution level and thus the correct concentration!
